Top 10 Best Bachelor Party Hotels

Here at AwayIGo, we love hotels.  We also happen to love a good Bachelor Party.  After thorough research, we have compiled the definitive list of the best Bachelor Party Hotels in North America.

.

Methodology

Our completely non-scientific methodology takes into account many important qualities of a good Bachelor Party Hotel (BPH) including:

– Proximity to Bars and Clubs

– Restaurant Options

– Hotel Vibe

– Access to Adult Entertainment

– Ease of Transportation

– Cost

– Craziness Index

.

The results are roughly weighted based upon the most popular Bachelor Party locations –  some of which you’ve already been too, but many you’ll need to visit.  Without further adieu:

#10)  The Grand Hotel Acapulco

B-Party Meets Spring Break…

Let’s be honest here, we’re not sending you to a 5 Star hotel, but based on the fun factor, this place has the goods.  The Grand Hotel is nestled amongst a strip of hotels where you can bounce from one pool to the next picking up girls, or simply taking shots for the soon to be married man.

.

Pros: Any of the city’s crazy clubs are only a five minute cab ride away from the Grand Hotel.  Palladium and Mandara are enormous clubs built into the mountains that crank out music until the sun comes up. Mix the proximity of the nightlife in with huge rooms for plenty of guys, as well as a perfect daytime set-up and you’ve got yourself a nice little stay. During the day there are a couple of pools that you can choose from with an awesome outdoor bar just waiting to supply you with shots of Patron.

.

Cons: Could you stay somewhere nicer? Sure. Do you really care about Egyptian sheets and flat screens when what you should really be concentrating on is dominating Mexico and helping your boy have one last hurrah? Thought so.

.

Bachelor Party Tip: Conveniently booking this trip in March to coincide with Spring Break is not the worst option.   Also, make sure there is one member of your group that takes one for the team and wakes up earlier / goes to sleep late (which ever is more realistic) to save some pool side lounge chairs.  If you want to look like Pauly D, you’ll have to earn your tan.  The pool area gets crowded early and you know prime real estate goes quick.

.

#9)  SLS  Los Angeles

Solid bacheLor Spot…

Not every group of bachelor party’s has the same interests.  So with our high end crew in mind, the SLS, Beverly Hills is your go to spot.

.

Pros:  Take the elevator to the top floor and ‘go hard’ at the all day pool parties. There’s a good chance that your waiter / waitress is an aspiring actor, heck your bathroom attendant is also, so it’s bound to be an attractive crowd.   (Give him a buck if you take a mint – he’s been auditioning for years). Since you’re at the SLS, which is an SBE property, you have preferred access into some of the top nightclubs and restaurants – utilize this hook up.   Some of the best spots are close by, but be sure to start the night with a few drinks in the downstairs lobby, because the talent level is serious.

.

Cons:    There’s nothing worse than hitting your stride and having the lights turned on and hearing “last call.”    The night clubs close shop at 2 am, so make the dinner reservation early, so you can be rolling into the club with enough time to party.

.

Bachelor Party Tip:  Hop into one of the luxury house cars provided by the SLS and have your driver lower the window as you scour Beverly Hills wondering, “do these people work?”

.

#8) the Wit Chicago

Doesn’t take a genius to make this right call…

Chicago has its fair share of large and luxurious hotels, but we recommend The Wit for a more boutique, eclectic bachelor party.  Located on the Lake Shore, even the fellas will have their breath taken away by the views.

.

Pros:  First and foremost, the rooftop. Ridiculous panoramic views either indoors or outdoors, because we all know you still have to party even in Chicago’s chilly season. When you leave the clubs, bring back a group of girls to the hotel and use the Roof as your ‘closer’. If you’re more into the chill type of bachelor party (we don’t know you, but we’re sure some of you guys exist) this hotel is even the spot for you.   Venture down to the screen room and get cozy.  Perhaps a little “Love and Basketball” with a bucket of beers is the crazy night you’ve been craving.

.

Cons:  Because the hotel sits on the Lake Shore, that cool Chicago chill in the Winter may cause some extra shrinkage.   But hey, if you’re going to Chicago in the Winter, you know what you’re in for. Bring a Northface and stop complaining.

.

Bachelor Party Tip:    Chicago is a city not to be missed in terms of sites.  The Planetarium is around the corner or you can trek to Wrigley field. The easy part of Chicago is that your hotel may not be at the epicenter, but it is an extremely accessible city, so try and plan some time to explore.

.

#7)  The Borgata Atlantic City

Jersey Shore meets Manhattan…

The case for the Borgata Atlantic City is pretty strong.  Combine a 5 star hotel with Vegas style gambling (everything except the sports book) all just 90 minutes from New York City and you have a recipe for Bachelor Party greatness.  But the Borgata is not just about location and gambling.  With a strong club scene (Mur.Mur, Mixx, and a Comedy Club), 3 world class restaurants and a top notch concert venue, the Borgata is the real deal.

.

Pros: The Borgata is packed on weekends and is the #1 spot in A.C.  It presents a middle ground between the “Jersey Shore” and “Hamptons” scenes, for a party looking to just have fun.  Yes, you’ll get your standard Ed Hardy t-shirts, flashy tattoos, and “Situation” clones flexing their bodies.  And they’ll be some Hampton’s trust fund babies, looking for a change of pace, but overall it’s a refreshing scene for a crew looking to ball out.  Be sure to check the event schedule in advance, because the Borgata is known to attract some good concerts, which could be a nice appetizer before a big night!

.

Cons: Not located on the beach + Indoor Pool = Bad combination… One of the best ways to setup a solid night is by recruiting the pools finest women to join you later in the evening.  The Borgata negates this option and places a heavier burden on your night time recruiting skills, while taking away the bottle popping pool side option.  If the Borgata Water Club (sister tower) would allow access into their outdoor pool, then this wouldn’t be an issue, but that’s not the case.  Party until the wee hours and wake up the next day after 3 and it’s a mute point.  Otherwise, the outlook for the day time is looking pretty bleak.

.

Bachelor Party Tip: The rooms can get a little pricey during the summer weekends, so plan to pack 3 – 4 into a room.  Use the extra cash at the tables.

.

#6)  Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas

Oldie but Goodie…

There isn’t a city on Earth that caters to a bachelor party quite like Vegas.  And for the past decade, there hasn’t been a hotel better suited to host your crew than the Hard Rock.  Yes we know, you certainly won’t be trendsetting or going somewhere your older brothers and their friends haven’t been, but hey, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

.

Pros: It’s the realest way to experience Vegas.  The party starts the moment you get off the plane and doesn’t end until you’re sitting in the airport thinking, “there is no way I can go to work tomorrow.”   The pool parties during the day are full blown ragers and you must stay through Sunday, so that you can experience Rehab (during the summer).  The restaurants are perfect for the big group, at least for the guys that don’t need the extended power nap so they can bring out there “A” game for the nightclub. From the ladies, to the club scene, the whole vibe has everyone forgetting life back home and just letting loose.

.

Cons: The Hard Rock is not in the heart of the action.   If you’re looking to venture elsewhere (Spearmint Rhino, Sapphires), or just check out a different hotel, you will need transportation, because unfortunately the Hard Rock is off the strip. Get over it.

.

Bachelor Party Tip: Tell your boss in advance that he can expect an empty cubicle until Wednesday.  You’ll need the extra few days to recover and we’d even recommend playing it safe, by keeping the following weekend clear.  Your body doesn’t recover like it used too, but when you hit the Hard Rock, you’ll party like you once did.
